Politicians are the most corrupt people followed by the police and judges.
Power corrupts because whenever you do something that somebody else doesn't like he will bribe or threaten you.
How to fight it:
With transparency.
If the information on whatever strange decicions a politician makes is offered to the free media. The situation can be investigated, unlike today where it is hard to follow the covert up tracks of the politicians.
