The concept of the mall is always the same: a tube-like architecture that sends people down an enclosed runway with shops on either side, it is no easy task to find the exits. The consumers don't seem to notice that they are being sent through a system like cows.
Malls take away the customers of small local shops. Studies prove that the loss of local business' profit reaches up to 39% after a mall has been constructed.
Most jobs at the mall are of the lousy € 400 kind (no insurance, no benefits) in Germany, cornering the poor into little boxes.
